Five for Friday...Thankful Style

I did it!
I actually linked up on time!
This week I'm sharing things I am THaNKFul for...
Thankful for the ability to be able to workout!
In a recent post, I posted about the 'F' word...Fitness {here}.
I admitted that I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with working out.
I've held true to my word and joined a gym close to my house.
I've forgotten how GREAT I feel afterwards!

Hopefully this time I can continue on the Fitness Rollercoaster and get off of the gain weight/loose weight rollercoaster.
That ride isn't very pleasant!
Need I say more? Soooo much fun and a super good workout!
The only problem I'm having is when I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror.
I feel as though I am doing everything exactly like the instructor and then BAM,  I see myself.
Oh! My! Word!
Not even close!
Oh well, at least I'm getting my sweat on and a good chuckle all at the same time!

 I've rekindled my relationship with the elliptical machine.

We've missed each other.
I've vowed not to be the one to leave the relationship this time!
660 calories burned in an hour...Oh Yeah!!!
Who can fix it? I can {and so can you}!
I am very thankful that I am able to fix things around the house and not have to pay someone to come and fix them for me.

It is still running case you were wondering.
Fixing something is so empowering!
Makes one want to take things apart and put them back together even if they're not broke!
So thankful for Coffee mate's seasonal creamers!

Did you notice that it's sugar free? I'm trying to cut out the sugar and carbs since I'm trying to get fit again.
Not sure how long I can last, but I'm gonna give it my best shot!

  2. I am IN LOVE with's my biggest problem. I can't stop stuffing my face with them!!! I'm proud of you for getting fit...and jealous. I need to be more motivated.

    1. Mine too...I can gain weight just smelling 'em! We can help each other. Let me know if you start and I'll be you're cheerleader! I'm finding my cravings for sweets and carbs are diminishing rapidly.
